The Philadelphia Eagles sent shockwaves through the NFL this week when veteran center Jason Kelce publicly announced his retirement after 13 incredible seasons. Kelce has been the heartbeat of the Eagles offense and one of the most beloved players in franchise history. His retirement truly marks the end of an era in Philadelphia.
Drafted in the 6th round back in 2011 out of Cincinnati, Kelce overcame the odds and low expectations that come with being a late round pick. He quickly won the starting job from Jamaal Jackson his rookie season and never looked back, starting every single game that year for an 8-8 Eagles squad.
